TCN has a team of highly credentialed, caring mental health professionals to provide
Adult Mental Health Services. The hallmarks of TCN's Mental Health Services are Ease
of Access and Affordability.
Emergency Crisis Services
If you are experiencing a significant crisis in your life, TCN believes you shouldn't
have to wait to get professional mental health counseling. TCN's Crisis Intervention
Unit provides walk-in services at the Xenia office from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays
(no appointment necessary) for clients who have an emergency need.
Any mental or emotional upset is urgent when it is yours. TCN offers scheduled Individual
Assessments and a Mental Health Walk-in Clinic weekly at both our Xenia and Fairborn locations.
You will meet privately with a counselor who will assist you in developing personal goals based
upon your circumstances, needs, and preferences. Your TCN counselor will assist you in the
goal setting process and give you skilled guidance in determining the most appropriate treatment
plan for meeting those goals.
TCN's Adult Psychiatric Services is led by Chief Medical Officer and Board
Certified Psychiatrist, Dr. Franklin Halley. He is supported by a staff of
adult auxiliary Psychiatrists, two Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses,
and three Registered Nurses. Clients of Adult Psychiatric Services will
receive compassionate diagnostic, prescriptive, and ongoing care.
Based upon the goals and plan you assisted in developing at your assessment,
your counselor will work with you individually to meet those needs. Activities of
counseling are customized to meet your needs and build upon your strengths. Individual
counseling may be supplemented with Group Counseling and Psychotherapy.
You may encounter relational stressors that require your significant other or
entire family to participate in the counseling process. As with Individual
Counseling, the concerned parties will contribute to the goal setting and plan
development to ensure that treatment is meaningful to your situation.
Group counseling provides a unique and dynamic atmosphere to address specific issues.
Building support with people who share similar concerns, giving and receiving feedback,
and observing successes and challenges are just a few of the advantages of group counseling.
Our current group counseling topics are listed to the left.
START [Social Trust and Responsibility Training] is a 4-hour Saturday class
for court-referred area misdemeanants. The class provides tools for reducing
socially irresponsible behaviors.
