TCN is proud to operate Christopher House, a 16-bed facility where residents participate in a comprehensive 65 - 70 day Chemical Dependency Treatment Program. Potential clients should attend one of TCN's AOD Walk-In Clinics where eligibility will be determined. Christopher House is open to men over the age of 18 who need an intensive residential program to address their alcohol and/or chemical addiction. We specialize in clients who are dual-diagnosed (mental illness and chemical dependency).

The Programs
A Therapeutic Community, working with Recovery Dynamics throughout the program. Residents are introduced to the 12-Steps and complete Steps 1 through 9 while in the program. They attend AA/NA meetings in the community. Residents work through levels of treatment including Orientation, Levels 1 and 2 and Graduation.

Christopher House programs include:

  • Relapse Prevention Education
  • Anger Management Therapy
  • Medication Monitoring
  • Family Sessions
  • Recreational Outings
  • Case Management
  • Basic Life Skills Training
  • GED Classes
  • Referrals to obtain Medicaid, SSI, SSDI when needed.
After Graduation
Twelve weeks of Aftercare are recommended following Christopher House graduation. Each client will undergo a gradual step-down in services, which will be determined on an individual basis. Close monitoring of each client is provided to ensure he has stable employment, appropriate housing and a strong, sober support system within the community.

Maintaining Recovery
TCN is pleased to offer additional services to help Christopher House graduates maintain their recovery. Our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline is available 365 days a year. TCN provides Case Management, administers Urine Drug Screens and works collaboratively with our client's referral source. TCN offers Individual and Group Counseling as well as Psychiatric Services. Individual apartments are available to Christopher House graduates who may need a safe, stable environment as they start independent and sober lives.
