As a new client, you will participate in an assessment session that focuses on
gathering information on your specific circumstances. Providing input on your
preferences, history, relationships and current needs will assist your counselor
in working with you to develop goals that are meaningful to you as an individual.
Your counselor will give you expert feedback on how you can best meet your goals
based on your needs.
All alcohol and drug treatment services provided by TCN Behavioral Health Services,
Inc., incorporate intensive education and group therapy as the core of the recovery
process for clients struggling with the demanding challenges basic to overcoming the
powerful bonds of alcohol and other drug abuse. Individual therapy, case management,
and referral services are also provided when needed. To maximize treatment
effectiveness and build relapse prevention skills treatment is enhanced by Twelve
Step participation.
Sensitivity and compassion for the unique circumstances of chemically dependent
women are highlighted in this treatment tract. Women often experience various
traumas before or during their involvement with chemicals. This special treatment
tract provides an opportunity to work in a secure environment with professionals
experienced with and understanding of those challenges you face while reclaiming
your sobriety, power, and self-esteem.
People struggling with mental illness and substance abuse benefit from this
specialized treatment. Each person is given a highly individualized plan
addressing their specific concerns about how their psychiatric condition
impacts their work in recovery from substance abuse or dependence. Education
and skill building focus on abstaining from substances while managing the
challenges of mental illness. Clients receive additional support in this
program through involvement with Community Support Services.
The Christopher House is a men's residential treatment program addressing
drug and alcohol problems. Treatment length is based upon individual need
but typically runs from 65-90 days to give you plenty of time to practice
and establish recovery oriented activities, utilize social supports, and
manage stressors to prepare you for taking on a clean lifestyle upon completion
of the program. Please click on the Christopher House link above to learn
more about this life changing opportunity.
Walk-in clinics allow you to quickly access assessment services. By offering
"first come, first served" clinics, we eliminate your wait time for an
assessment appointment and quickly begin linking you with needed services.
We provide two clinics weekly at our Xenia office and two clinics weekly at
our Fairborn office. You can choose from morning clinics that begin at 8:30am
or afternoon clinics that begin at 12:30pm. Please feel free to come fifteen
minutes early to complete paperwork and to secure your spot as one of the first
seen. Please prepare for the possibility that you may be at the clinic for up to
four hours as you are seen in the order of your arrival time.
JASS is an innovative outreach program that provides a unique opportunity for the
inmates of Greene County Jail and Xenia Adult Detention Center to participate in
drug and alcohol assessment services, group therapy, referral, and case management services.
The WRC is one of the few programs in the state that provides residential treatment
for women only. If you are a Greene County woman interested in this service, TCN and
the WRC will work side by side to provide the treatment you need. You must have your
initial assessment performed by a TCN counselor who will assist you in working with
the WRC to determine if the program is right for you. Once you've completed the
program, your TCN counselor will assist you in making aftercare treatment choices
to continue your progress in recovery.
